Salary Calculator
Calculate and compare hiring costs across currencies and clients
Overview
The Salary Calculator helps you quickly calculate and compare the cost of hiring a candidate. Enter the candidate's asking salary and see the converted cost for the client. Access it from the left sidebar.
Calculator Tab
The Calculator tab has an Input section on the left and a Result section on the right. Enter the following inputs:
- Candidate Asking Salary - the salary amount the candidate is requesting
- Monthly / Annually - toggle between monthly and annual salary
- Candidate Salary Currency - select the currency the candidate is paid in (e.g. AUD, PHP, INR)
- Client - select the client to calculate costs in their currency
Results
After entering the inputs, click 'Calculate' to see the converted cost breakdown in the Result panel. This shows what the hire will cost the client in their own currency.
Calculation Settings
Switch to the 'Calculation Settings' tab to configure the formulas, margins, and conversion rules used in salary calculations. This lets you customise how costs are computed for different clients and regions.
Use the Salary Calculator before making an offer to ensure the proposed salary aligns with the client's budget and your organisation's margins.
