Overview

Repeating tasks automate routine work that happens on a regular schedule. Set them up once and Alexia.ai will create new task instances automatically, whether assigned to people or AI agents.

Setting Up Repeating Tasks

To create a repeating task:

  1. Create a task as usual with a title and description
  2. Set the recurrence pattern: daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or custom
  3. Choose a start date and optionally an end date
  4. Assign to a team member or AI assistant
  5. Save - Alexia.ai will auto-create instances on schedule

Popular repeating tasks include: weekly marketing reports, monthly financial reviews, daily email triage summaries, weekly team standup agendas, monthly KPI dashboard updates, and quarterly compliance checks.

Managing Recurring Tasks

View all active repeating tasks from the task management section. You can pause, edit, or cancel any recurring task. Past instances are kept in your history for reference.

Assign recurring analytical tasks (like weekly reports) to AI assistants. They'll complete them automatically and notify you when ready.
