Human Chats
Direct message your team members and create group conversations
Overview
Human Chats is the direct messaging feature within Alexia.ai. Use it to have one-on-one or group conversations with your team members - separate from your AI assistant chats. Access it from the left sidebar under 'Human Chats'.
Chat List
Clicking 'Human Chats' in the sidebar opens a panel showing all your conversations. You can search chats by name using the search bar at the top. The list shows both individual conversations (e.g. 'Simon Lee', 'Patricia') and group chats (e.g. 'Marketing Team', 'Darlyn and Shane', 'PH Contractors'). A total count of your chats is shown at the bottom of the list.
Starting a New Chat
Click '+ Start New Chat' at the top of the Human Chats panel to begin a new conversation. Select one or more team members to create either a one-on-one chat or a group conversation.
Messaging
Human Chats work just like the AI chat interface - you can type messages, attach files, and use emojis. Messages are delivered in real time to your team members within Alexia.ai.
Human Chats are separate from your AI assistant conversations. Use Human Chats for team coordination and direct communication, and AI assistant chats for business tasks and AI-powered analysis.
