Chatting with Alexia.ai

How to ask questions, give commands, and get results

Overview

Alexia.ai's chat interface is designed to feel like talking to a knowledgeable colleague. You don't need to memorise commands or learn special syntax - just type naturally and Alexia.ai will understand.

Types of Requests

You can make several types of requests in the chat:

  1. Questions: 'What were our sales last quarter?'
  2. Commands: 'Create a weekly marketing report'
  3. Analysis: 'Compare our Q1 and Q2 performance'
  4. Tasks: 'Remind me to review the budget on Friday'
  5. Drafts: 'Write an email to the team about the new policy'
  6. Data: 'Upload and analyse this spreadsheet'

Getting Better Results

The more specific your request, the better the result. Instead of 'Show me sales data', try 'Show me monthly sales revenue for the last 6 months, broken down by product category'. Include timeframes, metrics, and context for the best output.

Follow-Up Questions

Alexia.ai remembers the context of your conversation, so you can ask follow-up questions naturally. After getting a report, you might say 'Now compare that to the same period last year' or 'Which product category grew the fastest?'.

Start broad and refine. Ask a general question first, then drill down into specifics based on what Alexia.ai shows you.
