How your email data is protected and processed
Overview
We take email security seriously. Your email data is encrypted, processed with minimal data retention, and never shared with third parties. Here's how we protect your inbox.
Encryption
All email data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Email summaries and metadata are stored in encrypted vector databases. Raw email content is processed in memory and not permanently stored.
Access Controls
Only you can see your email data within Alexia.ai. Team members in your organisation cannot access each other's email intelligence. Admin users can see aggregate email usage statistics but never individual email content.
Data Processing
When Alexia.ai processes your emails, it extracts summaries, categories, and action items. The raw email content passes through the AI model for analysis but is not used for training or stored beyond what's needed for your summaries.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect your email at any time from Settings. When disconnected, all stored email summaries are deleted within 24 hours. You can also revoke Alexia.ai's access directly from your Google Account security settings.
Review your connected integrations periodically in Settings to ensure you're comfortable with what's connected.
