General Settings
Configure your theme, notification sounds, and email preferences
Overview
General Settings lets you personalise how Alexia.ai looks and behaves for you. Access it from your profile menu by clicking 'Settings'. The General Settings page is accessible to all users by default.
Settings Sidebar
The Settings area has a left-hand sidebar with navigation items. The General page is available to everyone, but other sidebar items are access-level dependent - you'll only see the ones your role has permission to access:
- General - appearance, notifications, and email preferences (available to all users)
- Analytics - platform analytics and usage data
- Users - manage user accounts across your organisation
- Roles - configure and assign roles and permissions
- Organizations - manage organisation-level settings
- API Keys - view and manage API keys for integrations
- Agent Builder - build custom AI agents
- Agents - manage your organisation's agents
- Global Agent Settings - configure defaults that apply to all agents
- Models - manage AI model configurations
- Workflows - set up and manage automated workflows
- Storage - manage file storage settings
- Integrations - configure connected tools and services
- CUA Credentials - manage CUA (Computer Use Agent) credentials
Appearance
Choose how Alexia.ai looks on your device by selecting a theme:
- Light - the default bright theme
- Dark - a darker interface that's easier on the eyes in low-light environments
- System - automatically matches your device's system-wide light/dark mode setting
Notifications
Configure your notification sound preferences:
- Notification Sound - choose from available sounds using the dropdown (default is 'Ping'). Selecting a sound will preview it immediately.
- Notification Volume - adjust the volume using the slider (displayed as a percentage). Use the 'Test Sound' button to hear the current sound at the selected volume.
- Push Notifications - toggle push notifications on or off. When enabled, you'll receive notifications even when the Alexia.ai browser tab is closed.
Email Notifications
Choose which notifications you receive via email:
- Task reminder emails - receive email reminders for tasks assigned to you when AI follow-up is enabled. Toggle this on or off based on your preference.
If you don't see certain items in the Settings sidebar, it means your current role doesn't have access to them. Contact your administrator if you need access to additional settings.
